The Fox and the Goat:
The moral of this is to never trust someone when
they are in a bad situation and is having trouble. This means
when someone is having difficulty with something don't take
advice from them because they are only trying to help themselves not you.
The Crow and the Pitcher:
The moral of this is to take your time with everything
you do. This means just taking the time to do one small
thing at a time goes along way.
The Fisher and the Little Fish:
The moral of this is that it is better to have something small
then nothing at all. This means that the fisher is lucky to have
something to eat, even if it is small, then starve and wait for
it to become bigger and better.
The Four Oxen and the Lion:
The moral of this story is that when your together you
can achieve so much more then when your divided.
This means that when the four oxen split it became easier
for the lion to hunt them because they didn't have each others backs.
The Wolf in the Sheep's Clothing:
The moral of this story is that apperances are deceptive.
This means that what you see isn't always true.

wooden bowls
The lesson that the story, "Wooden Bowls" , teaches us is that never just push something or someone aside just because of its flaws. This relates to cares because of the words responsibility, empathy, cooperation, and self control. This story has to do with responsibility because it is your responsibility to take care of your father, he lives in your house, so you should satisfy his needs. The word empathy means a lot for this story because he is your father, you can't just let him sit by himself. He took care of you when you were younger, and you should take care of him now. Cooperation comes into this story because you have to cooperate with him, he might have flaws, but they are minor, you can learn to live with them. Lastly, self control, you should be able to control yourself, and your feelings/emotions. Him being your father, and being elderly and fragile, it is probably really important to control yourself before anyone else.

Ask A Geneticist
I learned that humans have forty-six chromosomes. We have forty-six chromosomes because our complex body system has split them up into many different chromosomes instead of just one large chromosome. In addition, most creatures like us humans have 48, but over time bits and pieces of chromosomes break off and attach to other chromosomes. The most interesting genetics fact I discovered was that genetic diversity is very important to survive. Also, that the dtermination of which genes go on which chromosomes is just pure luck. Lastly I learned that duplicating genes is a way to create new genes.

Basic Genetics
Heredity is when genes, such as personality or physical traits are passed down from another generation to you. Traits are features that a person may have. Some examples are brunette hair, hazel eyes, or being short. Those are physical traits. I learned that sometimes our environment can change our traits. I also learned about single-gene traits and complex traits. Single-Gene traits are when only one gene is shaped by a trait. Complex traits are when traits are influenced by more than one or many genes. Before today I didn't realize how complicated heredity and different traits can actually be.
